Hair tips&tricks

Hello, what is up? Spring is here for sure, that’s new! Even though, in my country the wheather  is so weird, that I can’t decide is it summer or autumn.  Anyways, that is not theme of this post! Since some of you complemented my hair in one of my previous here , saying that I should share my hair tips and routine with you, I decided to that today. Thank you all for you lovely comments, it’s very kind of you 🙂 I hope you’ll enjoy in this post and that it’ll help you 🙂

Products I use:

First of I’m gonna start with my faves when it comes to taking care of my hair. Those are some the products that I love, and most of them I use for over a year. Aldo, I need to mention that my hair is naturally straight so this product do amazing job with my hair type.

Krauterhof shampoo with nettle

This is my no.1 shampoo, I have been using it for the longest time and it’s miracle in bottle. It contains nettle which is very good for keeping hair healthy and clean. It’s pretty natural and it has a lot of benefits for your hair. It’s for all hair types, smells neutral and it makes my hair shiny and not oily. I don’t like using too aggressive      shampoos with keratin and for colored hair. In my opinion they are more likely to damage your hair than cherish it. And another plus, it costs around 3$, has 500ml, so it’s extremely long lasting. Ba-bam on the budget!

L’Oreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Conditioner

I’ve already talked about this conditioner in this post here. If you read it, than you know how much I love it. I have to admit that this is something I recently discovered, but I’ve used L’oreal conditioners before and they are amazing! They Elseve collection is really good and also has a lot of different conditioners depending on your hair type. So, finding a perfect conditioner has never been easier! What I love about this is that it makes my hair soft and even more flat, so I don’t have to use any heat on it to make it perfectly straight. If you want details about it you can check this post here 🙂

Natural Almond Oil

Natural hair oils are lifesavers. In my opinion, they are the best products for keeping hair  nourished , healthy and non greasy. They prevent cracked and dry hair tips, which are the first sign of unhealthy and not very nice looking hair. If you use a lot of heat make sure to put natural oils on your hair tips at least once a week before washing your hair. I use almond oil, but I’ve heard that apparently coconut oil has the most benefits. The way a use it: I spread all over my hair, make a messy braid and let it sit for several hours. Than I wash my hair like I normally do 🙂

Hair tips

Keeping your hair healthy and #onfleek is pretty basic. There are simply some rules that you have to respect, like not using much heat, not dying hair often… But, it doing that isn’t really easy. If you want those lovely tumblry curls, of course you have to use curler, which unfortunately damages your hair. In my opinion, the key for both: good looking and healthy hair is ballance. It sounds a bit weird, but I hope these tips will make it clearer.

Use less heat

Probably, the no.1 thing that causes hair problems. I personally don’t use a lot of heat on my hair, for real I used curling wand once or twice in my life (not that have many years 🙂 ), but there are some people who don’t like their hair or just want to have hair on fleek all the time. If you’re that type of ‘heat user’, than I would suggest you to reduce using of it. Simple, lame, boring… I know. But if you really can’t, that try to lower the temperature and make sure to treat your hair even more. Put oil on your hair, as well as conditioner and hair masks, and don’t forget hear protective spray!

Hello, nature!

This maybe sounds ridiculously, but nature is actually very helpful and it can offer a lot. One of my biggest tips is to dry your hair out , on the sun, when is hot outside. You’re not damaging your hair and trust me my hair has the best looking when I it’s dried by the sun. Also, fun fact, sun can lighten your hair and if you’re brunette like me, you’ll get beautiful natural looking highlights. 🙂

Trim your hair

But only when you need to! Trimming your hair orderly is very important. A lot of people, in order to grow their hair faster ditch the trimming. You shouldn’t do that, because your hair will be yes long but unhealthy, full of cracked, thin ends. Cutting damaged part from time to time is the key for healthy and good looking hair.

Let your hair free

Of course we can’t let our hair free 24/7, but it’s not really good to tie your hair all the time. That can cause headaches and also damages your hair root. If you can’t stand your hair being loose and you want it out of your face, than reconsider making a braid or loose, messy bun.

Avoid using a lot of chemicals

Shampoo and conditioner are one thing, they are necessity! But, you should also pay attention on ingredients and try to use less hairspray, or even dying your hair often can have bad influence on your hair.

Give it treatment that deserves!

Taking care of hair is all I talk about in this post, but it is the most important thing. Also, eating healthy (aka. lot of fruit and vegetables) is effecting your hair. Consuming food that contains more vitamin B, leads to better hair.

And that’s basically it! This is something that works best for me, I have to mention that I’m not a professional for this, but I do pay attention on keeping my hair. I hope you enjoyed and leave a comment bellow if you have some of your tips 🙂

Long time no see…

Neguje, oporavlja i daje kosi lep, prirodan sjaj. Ostavlja kosu mekanom, a takođe pošto sadrži koprivu jača i koren kose.

L’Oreal Elseve Extraordinary Oil Nourishing regenerator

Sprečavaju i oporavljaju rascvetale krajeve, suvu, ispucalu i beživotnu kosu.

Hair tips

Manje uvijanja i ispravljanja…

Dogurali ste do kraja posta, svaka čast!

  1. I’m so bad when it comes to looking after my hair and basically do all the things that you’re not meant to! I have been trying to cut down on the amount of heat I have been using though and also I have dyed my hair darker so I’m not putting as much bleach on it. Hopefully this will help my hair grow! 🙂 x

  2. Thanks for sharing your hair tips. Your hair really looks pretty and healthy. After having my hair bleached and colored, I’m taking extra care of it now. I’ve been using a sulfate-free shampoo to keep it smooth and soft since the bleaching kind of made it look dry and brittle.

  3. Almond oil sounds interesting! I usually use virgin coconut oil because that’s what I already have on hand for cooking and for my skin. I’m gonna remember to buy some almond oil and try that out! Thanks for your tips girl!
