Prague Travel Diary

Hello everyone and welcome back to another post. 🙂 Today, I’m sharing with you something that I haven’t shared for a really long time and that is: my travel adventures! f you follow me for some time than you may know I have like travel diary type of post, but I’ve only done one and it was my Vienna experience. Travel posts are my fave type of posts to read, so I was like: why wouldn’t I try and do these more often? So, I decided to share my travel experience from Prague today.

I had the opportunity to visit Prague during my school trip back in September 2k17. We stayed there for about 2 days and unfortunately there wasn’t enough time for me to completely get to know Prague. But, it was enough for me to fall in love with it. That’ why when a got a trip to this lovely city as my b-day gift in November, I couldn’t be happier! Only thing that was kinda bad was the weather. But, what could you expect in November. So, if you’re visiting Prague make sure to bring adequate jacket and an umbrella, because the weather can change really fast.

Now, what can I say about the city, it’s simply remarkable. Full of architecture and narrow streets, perfect for getting peaceful walks and exploring the city. Prague really has a lot to offer, it’s up to you whether you’ll take it or not. The most famous and obvious are Charles Bridge as well as St. Vitus Cathedral, Prague Castle and Old town. But, you can find bunch of more relevant tourist guides online, so I’m here to share tips, interesting facts and hidden places.

So, while you’re crossing the Charles Bridge, don’t forget to stop by this really weird monument and make a wish! Supposedly, you should make a wish while holding the golden dog sculpture that’s on monument. Maybe it’ll come true one day, who knows? As for Prague Castle and St.Vitus Cathedral, you have to experience it yourself. I’ve never seen such mosaics as I saw in that cathedral. Literally, breathtaking.

That’s the place for making wishes! 🙂

And while you’re walking ’round the city and experiencing charms of Prague, take a break and try one of the best sausages, get hydrated with a beer or two and to top it off and treat yourself, grab a trdlo. Trust me, you won’t regret it, and those are famous meals from Prague’s street cuisine. 🙂

I know I’ve already said this million times in this post, but Prague really has A LOT to offer, so excuse me if I don’t manage to show you everything through this post. Meet, the astronomical clock, isn’t it charming? Well, this ‘Orloj’ has its own story. Make sure to be on time to see the clock while it’s working. You can see 4 figures and every single one has special meaning. The first one represents vanity, than there comes greed, followed by death and at end there’s a figure representing lust.

My fave part of the city and favorite place out of all the big buildings and busy streets is this tiny little street. That’s right, that’s a street, not a little alley it is truly a street, but smallest one in the Europe. 🙂 There’s even a traffic light that you have to respect otherwise, you’ll get stuck.

I found this really cute cafe, but I totally forgot the name of it. Yes, I’m dumb. But, this was the most beautiful pie I’ve ever tried!

Also, if you are a fan of porcelain and crystal, Prague has one of the best and most expensive crystal. I could only afford to watch it and take photos of it (at least that’s free), but it’s truly remarkable.

I saved this for the end, so that we can end it sweet way. 🙂 I hope you enjoyed reading my post and that you
